I'm a freelance journalist working across photography, video, and written reporting. My long-form and investigative work has centred on Eastern Europe and the Balkans, where I've reported on human rights and the legacy of conflict.
In 2019, a Balkan Investigative Reporting Network grant funded my project on the siege of Goražde, in Eastern Bosnia. Earlier work includes documenting the experiences of former UN peacekeepers in the country and reporting on the work of de-mining NGO Norwegian People's Aid.
Since then I’ve also worked as a staff writer for Clarion Defence & Security and two maritime titles - the Naval Architect and Ship Energy - where I covered startups, naval programmes, and procurement.
This experience has helped shape my current focus on the intersection of security, international affairs, and the maritime sector. I'm particularly interested in how hybrid conflict and emerging technology affect people both near and far from the frontline.
